Class Challenge

What a year it has been!  Over 700 people joined together in July to celebrate the Urbandale Community School District's centennial anniversary. But that was not the end of the celebrating!  When we think of all that has changed in the past 100+ years it truly staggers the mind, but one thing has remained constant—our heartfelt support for ensuring Urbandale students have the means to further their education after high school graduation.

With this in mind,  the Class of 1973 (in honor of their 45th class reunion) and the Urbandale Alumni Association have partnered together to create a Class Challenge.  All graduaties from Urbandale High School are being challenged by the Class of 1973 to raise scholarship funds for UHS students in recognition of the Centennial Celebration of Urbandale Schools.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The Class Challenge will run from now through March 10, 2018.
  • Funds raised will support scholarships for the UHS Class of 2018 and future generations of UHS graduates.
  • The class that donates highest percentage of funds will have a scholarship in their name awarded to a graduate(s) at the honors ceremony at UHS in the spring of 2018.
  • Your donation is tax deductible as the Urbandale Alumni Association is part of the Urbandale Education Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
  • You may designate donations “In Honor Of” or “In Memory Of” an individual or group.
  • All donations may be made through the Urbandale Education Foundation's website.  Click on the Class Challenge logo for all the information needed to make a donation.  Or download this form and mail your check to the address indicated on the form.

Your support truly makes a difference by helping Urbandale graduates further their education and get off to a great start as they head into the next chapter of their lives. Thank you in advance for rising to the challenge!
