Survived By: Mary, his wife of 48 years; son, Joseph; sisters, Marta and Sallie; brothers, Charles and Tim. Preceded in death by beloved daughter, Stephanie and his parents, Bill and Sally.

Steve was an alum of UHS, participating in numerous UHS sport teams, he was a football and wrestling standout. He graduated from University of South Dakota, where he was on the wrestling team. He was an executive in the mortgage banking business, living in Kansas, Arizona, California and Georgia. He kept in contact with many of his high school friends. Steve enjoyed playing practical jokes and spending time with family and friends. He particularly enjoyed fishing trips with his brother, Chuck and beach trips with his siblings and their families. His boisterous laugh, sparkling blue eyes and big grin will be missed by those who loved him.
