Patrick “Pat” Alan Brady passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, June 1, 2023 in his home. He requested to be cremated, and his family will celebrate his life privately at a later date.

Pat grew up and graduated from high school in Urbandale. He was skilled in construction and welding. He was a member of the team to build the Saint Louis Arch. Pat retired from Firestone as a welder. He was an avid fisherman - at one point holding a world record for flathead catfish on 3 lb test line. He enjoyed a good prank on coworkers, a good ear or three of Grimes sweet corn, cooking his famous crunchy french toast, shooting at the range, and being out on the water fishing. He truly had a huge heart for all dogs.

He is survived by wife Connie Brady, daughter Jill Stains, granddaughter Gracie Stains. Preceded in death by Father Frank Brady, Mother Geneva McDivitt Brady Lindhorst, sister Sally Brady, and all dogs in his life.
